Primary Section

The primary level represents a child’s first step to formal learning. From ages 4 to 11 youngsters are taught many different skills.

Language is the backbone of school education in students life. Taking cognizance of this, teachers use direct method, story telling method and other methods which make learning of languages an enjoyable activity. Assignment method and project method are part and parcel of regular teaching in Sinhgad City School.

Periodic or chronological method, the story method, project method are used to teach history.For teaching geography, methods like regional method, observational method, comparative method are used.

Problem method, project method, observation method, Assignment method, Demonstration method etc are used to make teaching of science interesting. Teacher’s use various teaching aids and techniques to make learning of mathematics easy.


Secondary Section

Teachers in Sinhgad City School have clear and correct notion of the objectives, they want to achieve through various subjects. Different subjects demand teaching methods which will help in achieving the prescribed objectives.

In our school, teaching methodology is designed keeping in view every child’s learning needs. This helps in having strong foundation of basic concepts. Teachers give personal attention to achieve this.

Teachers often adopt ‘eclectic approach’ to teach subjects in such a way that students’ learning is accomplished in a stress free environment.
